Do you have an additional mailbox hosted by Cloud Networks that you would like to add to your Existing Outlook setup so that you can see it alongside your other mailbox/s. If that sounds like what you are after then check out this video and written guide below.
The Steps
- Open Outlook
- Click File > Add Account
- From the Auto Account Setup window fill in ALL details and click “Next”.
- Your name: <type your name here or the accounts name i.e. Payroll or Admin>
- E-mail Address: <The email address provided to you by Cloud Networks>
- Password: <The email address password provided to you by Cloud Networks>
- Once you press next give it up to 5-10min for your settings to be detected
- You may see a Windows Security Prompt like the one below
- When prompted for your credentials click More choices
- Click Use a different account
- You can now Enter the correct Username - i.e. hotsite\<username>
- As per the above picture you must include "hotsite\" in the Username field
- Tick Remember my credentials
- Click OK
- If all is correct you won't be prompted again for any password, if you continue to receive security prompts, check over the above steps and if still issues contact support@cloudnetworks.com.au
- This is what you should see if everything goes through correctly. Three Green Ticks
- There is an option Change account settings > Tick this
- Click Next
- We now get the ability to configure how much of the mailbox is downloaded for offline use.
- I usually set 3 - 6 months depending on my needs.
- Once happy click Finish
- You will get prompted to restart Outlook so Restart Outlook
- Reopen Outlook
- You may be prompted for the Mailboxes logins, be sure to read the screen and provide the logins as per the same as step 9
- Once done, Outlook will Open and the additional mailbox will be on the left side
